Last evening, our Chief AI & Business Services Officer, Summer Collins, joined an impressive panel of telco leaders Junelle Kunin and Michelle Chen at Connected Futures – Women Shaping AI & the Future of Telco.   It was an inspiring evening of real kōrero about what AI means for the telco industry — and for the women leading the charge.   The event opened with an insightful keynote from Kate Tulp, NZ Country Director at ServiceNow (who is also a former Vodafone NZ leader), who introduced the EPOCH framework — a reminder that empathy, presence, creativity, and hope are the human skills that AI can't replace. Her message was clear: build your AI fluency but lead with what makes us human.   Summer shared her perspective that data remains at the core of AI — from data sovereignty to better decision-making. As NZ’s telco, getting the fundamentals right is what helps us use technology more effectively.   A huge thanks to the 2degrees Women in Tech team for inviting our wāhine to be part of the conversation, bringing the telco sector together, and to everyone who showed up to connect, learn, and be inspired. Here’s to more of these conversations across the industry. 💡   Global Women Katie Bhreatnach #ConnectedFutures #WomenInTech #AI #WomenInAI #Leadership #WomenInTelco #FutureOfWork
