Such is the nature of the sport of kitesurfing - if the wind blows you drop everything and go! Josh Gillitt was enjoying some “down” time up in the sky on a paragliding trip in Wilderness when he got the 72hour alert that a big storm was forecasted to hit Denmark and the Red Bull King of the Air Qualifier Cold Hawaii Games would be on TOMORROW! That meant dropping everything, heading back to Cape Town to pack kites, book tickets and fly out the next day! The forecast is predicting in excess of 40 - 50knots(74 - 92km/hr) where 18 invited Big Air Kiteboarding specialists will battle it out for the podium and a chance to secure their ticket for the Red Bull King of the Air which will be taking place in Cape Town later in the year. You will be able to watch all the high flying action on the Cold Hawaii Games YouTube Channel - https://lnkd.in/dzH4xM8m #athletemanagement #athletes #sports#brandbuilding #partnerships #sportsmarketing #southafrica #coldhawaiigames #bigair #kiteboarding #denmark #redbull #kota
