I love Luis Felipe Edwards wines from Chile. They are excellent value for money & present really expressive representations of the grape variety & the region. Sauvignon Blanc is a great wine to enjoy while basking in the sun of the warmer months. The wine is light & refreshing, displaying on the nose and palate lemon, grapefruit & hints of apricot. Here is the secret, acid likes acid. The well balanced citric acid notes pairs beautifully with anything you can squeeze lemon on or is complimented with a vingerrete. This makes the wine appear softer & sweeter, while enhancing the flavours of the food. Add some sophistication to your Saturday Souse or your salt & vinegar potato chips.
