We run data collection programs that depend on real people and sometimes children, as contributors. That means our responsibility to protect participant privacy isn't abstract. Before any collection begins, participants receive full disclosure of what's being collected, who sees it, why, and how long it's retained, in plain language, upfront.  For minors, verified parental authorization is mandatory and documented. Contributor data is shared only with the direct client it was collected for - never sold, traded, or passed to third parties. Identities are protected through both technical safeguards and enforceable contractual obligations. Clients are contractually prohibited from re-identifying contributors, reselling the data, using it beyond the disclosed purpose, or retaining it past the agreed period. Participation is always voluntary, with the right to withdraw at any stage.
