Happy Feast of St. Anthony of Padua! An incredible preacher, educator, and priest, St. Anthony converted many souls through his words and witness to the Word of God. Today we look to St. Anthony as patron for lost things, the sick, pregnant women, and teachers, especially of the theology. St. Anthony, please inspire couples pregnant with a child with intellectual and developmental disabilities to choose life and to know of the profound love and comfort of the one, true God. And, St. Anthony, please give us and all educators the words to preach the necessity of inclusion in our Catholic schools and the ability to approach every student with reverence and love. St. Anthony, pray for us!
