✨𝐀𝐈𝐌 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 '25 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐩 ✨    As the semester comes to an end, here’s a look at how our AIM Connect batch explored the full spectrum of MedTech - from clinics to research labs, startups, and industry.  🏥 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬  We kicked off at Klinikum Großhadern with Prof. Dr. Konstantinos Dimitriadis, who gave us a look into the realities of the neurological ICU - from data management and documentation burdens to workflow challenges where innovation is urgently needed. Across further visits in Nuclear Medicine, Neurosurgery, Cardiac Surgery, and Pathology, participants gained firsthand insight into clinical routines, patient care, and the point where medicine and technology meet.  🔬 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 & 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 At the CAMP Chair of TUM, we dove into imaging, computer-assisted interventions, and research careers across engineering and medicine. Personal stories from Nassir Navab about navigating academia, clinical experience, and global career paths made this visit especially meaningful. The following week, we explored the brand-new ICON Center at LMU - a space where engineers, biologists, and clinicians work side by side. Touring state-of-the-art imaging labs and seeing cardiac surgery research unfold in real time highlighted the power of true interdisciplinary collaboration.    🚀 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 At Fraunhofer EMFT, we met the founders of SoreAlert and explored their development environment. Their insights into early-stage iteration, product refinement, and the realities of building a MedTech startup inside a research ecosystem made the visit incredibly inspiring.    🏢 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬  At ZEISS Meditec AG, we explored ophthalmic diagnostics, medical imaging, AR/VR applications, and AI in healthcare - and learned how large MedTech companies integrate innovation into clinical workflows. Our visit to Amazon Web Services showed how cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and AI tooling enable scalable, secure solutions across modern healthcare systems.    ✨ A huge thank you to all clinicians, researchers, founders, and industry experts for their time, openness, and insights.   This is exactly what AIM Connect is about: bridging disciplines to drive meaningful medical innovation!
