First-in-Human Study of IL15–Activated Cytokine-Induced Killer Cells After Allogeneic HCT Shows Durable Remission and Serotherapy-Associated Immune Reconstitution in Leukemia https://buff.ly/NvzIzt0 This first-in-human phase I/II study evaluated donor-derived IL15-activated cytokine-induced killer (IL15-CIK) cells for relapse prevention after stem-cell transplantation in high-risk #leukemia . Treatment was feasible and well tolerated, with low rates of severe GVHD and no treatment-related mortality. Outcomes were most favorable in consolidation and preemptive settings, with durable remissions and survival benefits. Efficacy depended on disease burden and prior therapy, highlighting the importance of timing and patient selection.
