A landmark new open-access study in the Indian Journal of Nuclear Medicine offers a first look at that gap. The BRICS Multicentre Theragnostic Survey 2026 is the first study of its kind, gathering data from 137 nuclear medicine centres across 14 countries that represent nearly half the world's population. These are major centres already engaged in theranostics. And yet, even among them, the obstacles are striking: unreliable radionuclide supply, reimbursement and funding gaps, and a shortage of trained specialists. If the better-equipped centres face these hurdles, the barriers facing everyone else are far higher. The most hopeful signal? More than 95% of participating centres said they are ready to collaborate on research, training, and shared protocols. Equitable access to radioligand therapy is not a luxury. For patients facing cancer, it is a matter of survival. 📄Read the article: https://lnkd.in/ehApE5aq #Theranostcis #Theragnostics #RadioligandTherapy #NuclearMedicine #HealthEquity #Access #CancerCare
