#WorldEnvironmentDay 2026 focuses on climate change and the solutions being developed and implemented across the world. At #Omya we take our climate responsibilities seriously and our ongoing investment in renewable energy reflects this commitment.   One of 113 energy efficiency projects approved last year was our first wind turbine project, recently installed at our Melton production site in the United Kingdom. The turbines supply a significant share of the site’s electricity requirements and will contribute to the site’s carbon footprint reduction over the coming years.
