OMSB recently supported Cyan Renewables throughout a six-month subsea decommissioning project on the North-West Shelf, providing integrated logistical support across the campaign. By utilising the facilities in Onslow, Cyan Renewables (operating the MMA Pinnacle) reduce transit times by more than half compared to the next closest port, a saving that compounded steadily across months of operations and regular crew rotations. OMSB provided Cyan with a single, coordinated logistics solution covering cargo handling, charter flights, crew movements, bunkering, waste management, and vessel support shifting between alternating ports - all managed through one integrated system across Beadon Creek and the Port of Ashburton, making planning cleaner and execution reliable. When the campaign threw up challenges, including a significant cyclone, they were worked through quickly and without disruption to Cyan operations. For complex, long-duration work in the North-West, OMSB has proven that having a capable, integrated operator on the ground in Onslow made a genuine difference to the success of the Cyan Renewables campaign.
