These entrepreneurs in Pakistan should be completely tax exempt. Release them from harassment by the taxman and they will solve every economic problem in Paksitan within 7-10 years and create an economic renaissance that will be the marvel of the world. China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan have nothing on Pakistani crafts people and entrepreneurs. McKiney : 70% of employment in emerging economies is generated through the informal SME sector. McKinsey Global Institute: MSMEs create 7 out of 10 new formal jobs in emerging economies over the past decade, and account for roughly 70% of employment in the business sector in emerging countries. MSMEs create enormous value for economies around the world. They account for roughly half of global GDP. That share varies significantly among economies. In Portugal, Indonesia, Italy, and Kenya (ordered by decreasing share of value added), the share is larger than 60 percent. In the United States, Nigeria, and India, it is less than 40 percent.
