Situated at the corse of Hangzhou's Future Tech City, the Hangzhou Prism comprises 43,000 square meters of mixed use, including a hotel, residential units, offices with urban amenities, and a public square. The project challenges the separation between a private program and the urban realm. At the building's base, a large exterior atrium forms a civic core, publicly accessible from the surrounding streets, canal and park, providing an environment for events, both spontaneous and organized. Designed by OMA / Chris van Duijn and commissioned by Xinhu Real Estate Group for the Future Tech City district, the Prism is OMA’s first built project in Hangzhou. https://lnkd.in/eG9D9YCm
