🔎 Innovation Ecosystems and the SDGs: Accenture’s and the OECD’s Vision How Innovation Ecosystems Enable Antifragility and the Common Good in the Pursuit of the SDGs I recently read the Accenture report “Uniting Sustainability and Technology” and found many insights that strongly resonate with my vision. The report reinforces an idea I’ve long supported: innovation ecosystems are not merely instruments for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), but enablers of antifragility — capable of evolving through uncertainty, shocks, and complexity. Accenture highlights how collaboration across businesses, startups, academia, nonprofits, and the public sector is essential to generate shared value for communities, the environment, and the organizations involved. This perspective aligns closely with the concept of the common good, which I have explored in normative frameworks and innovation strategies. To further validate this view, the OECD — in its report “Innovation for Development – IMPACT” — emphasizes that no single actor can generate systemic impact alone, and that ecosystem approaches rooted in local needs and global knowledge are essential to sustainable, inclusive transformation. From this dual perspective, innovation ecosystems emerge as platforms for regenerative innovation, where technology is not only a tool but also a cultural and operational enabler of sustainability, collective learning, and systemic evolution. 📄 I’ve expanded on these reflections in my latest article. #InnovationEcosystems #Sustainability #Antifragility #CommonGood #SDGs #Accenture #InnovationManagement #Paradigm5_0 Dr. Annika Steiber Rick Fernandez Pier Cassone Alvaro Reynoso Marco Cibien Paola Rinaldi, Phd Magnus Karlsson - Systematic Innovation Management Magnus Hakvåg Marco Gorini Cesara Pasini Tiziana Valerio Iubatti Francesco Castagna Giuseppe Calculli Salvatore Calcagnile Arturo Lavalle Luca Luigi Manuelli Patricia Larios-Francia Guglielmo Grosso Matteo Iubatti Ivano Corradetti Mario Burrascano Cinzia Rossi Raffaele Zito Severine Herlin OECD - OCDE Accenture ISO TC 279 - Innovation Management ISO - International Organization for Standardization Claudio Perissinotti Bisoni
