Last Friday, I received a call from a journalist. To my surprise, it wasn’t to talk about the economy, industry, or the challenges companies are currently facing… but to ask how we were organizing internally around the Red Devils’ match. And in the end, I found the question very relevant. Because a football match is never “just” a match. It is also a moment of sharing, atmosphere, friendly teasing, pride and respect. Especially in a company like Knauf Insulation, where diversity is part of everyday life, both in the offices and in the factory. We are fortunate to have colleagues from many different backgrounds, with almost a supporter for every country represented. Everyone supports their country of heart, their colours, their memories… but always with respect and good humour. It is also an opportunity to highlight our colleagues working in continuous shifts, who keep our factories running even when part of the country is holding its breath in front of a match. This diversity, this atmosphere and this mutual respect are a real strength. And when we see it come to life so naturally within our teams, we can truly say it is a wonderful collective achievement. So tonight, may everyone enjoy the match in their own way. Long live football, may the best team win… Belgium, of course! 🇧🇪⚽🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪 #diversity #forabetterworld Knauf Belgium Sandrine Dufour Nicolas Mostinckx Antony Solitro Alain KOLONGO Ludovic Piraux Arnaud Denis Maxime Delrue L'Echo
