Psychology at The University of Melbourne | Facilitator at The Big Issue | Founder of ThryveLab

I’m thrilled to be starting a new role as a Facilitator with The Big Issue. Through The Big Issue Classroom interactive workshops, I’ll be working with primary and secondary school students to explore the realities and causes of homelessness, debunk harmful stereotypes, and most importantly, provide a platform for someone with lived experience to share their story in a paid role. My job is to help ensure these workshops run smoothly, creating a space where students can ask questions, challenge misconceptions, and build empathy. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to social impact through education, support marginalized voices, and help create work opportunities for those who need them most. Looking forward to learning, growing, and making a difference with The Big Issue team! They’re an amazing organisation so do check out their website for more info: https://thebigissue.org.au
