Today I had the pleasure of meeting the full team at Boehringer Ingelheim, Pirbright, current interns and the wider cohort I’ll be joining this September. Getting the chance to meet the managers in person was a real privilege, something last year’s intern group didn’t get the opportunity to do, so I don’t take it for granted. Everyone I met was welcoming, engaged, and clearly proud to be part of the team, which made for some great conversations and an even better first impression of the site. I’m genuinely excited to start as an Environmental Health and Safety Intern this September. Out of thousands of applicants for a small number of placements, I feel incredibly fortunate to have secured mine, and I’m looking forward to working closely with my fellow interns throughout the year. This placement marks my first real step into the corporate world, and I can’t wait to learn, contribute, and build lasting connections along the way.🙏
