Oldelft Ultrasound recently announced that the SEISMIC-IHI research consortium has secured EUR 23.5 million in Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) funding to advance minimally invasive neurosurgery through next-generation imaging technologies. “As part of the five-year innovation program, Oldelft will develop an advanced 4D ultrasound probe for real-time brain visualization during cryoablation treatment of brain tumors — helping enable greater precision, improved clinical workflows, and better patient outcomes.” said Michiel Baas, R&D Manager at Oldelft. Developed in collaboration with US4US and Erasmus MC, the project represents a significant milestone in the evolution of image-guided neurosurgery and minimally invasive care.
