Attendance at the temple of motoring, seldom missed The The Goodwood Group’s Festival of Speed is many things to many people. To me, it is the one place where past, present and future share the same tarmac. Spectrums of motoring world collide with each other on the same estate bringing in not just plethora of ideas, people and collaborations but celebration of brand milestones as well. Quick takeaways: Historic Ford Motor Company v/s Ferrari reunion, Singer Vehicle Design 2026 central feature, Ducati Motor Holding marking its centenary, BMW Group M3 turning 40, FutureLab showcasing how technology is becoming conversational, Porsche AG celebrating 75 years in Great Britain and GRRC heading to America. Singer Vehicle Design’s mantra is exactly the tone of Goodwood FOS: ‘everything is important’ (indeed is!) As a creative strategist, automotive enthusiast and a cultural observer: Goodwood FOS is the best institution to learn and get inspired from. My highlights: Conversation with the team at Bizzarrini, TWR Performance and Gordon Murray Automotive was very inspiring as I have been exploring the world of niche automotive branding & manufacturing for past 3 years. The insights included: brand strategy, product planning, technical & non-technical constraints, homologation and the comprehensive storytelling for a brand with rich heritage (I conveyed my interest in working with their teams in upcoming opportunities, really do wish!) Imminent time, people, ideas and products are certainly promising. I intend to get associated with some of them in the near future in any capacity. Who all are eyeing Revival?! #GoodwoodFOS #FestivalOfSpeed #AutomotiveDesign #BrandStrategy #CarCulture #LuxuryAutomotive #DesignThinking #Innovation Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.
