A great evening marking 10 years of robotic surgery at Wiener Neustadt-Hochegg University Hospital. Many thanks to Martin Haydter, Anton Kasser, Elisabeth Bräutigam, Harun Fajkovic and the legend Hans Hofbauer for joining this important anniversary and for highlighting how innovation, training and interdisciplinary collaboration continue to shape the future of surgery. Ten years ago, robotic surgery was still seen by many as something exceptional. Today, it is increasingly becoming part of modern clinical routine. The next step will be to combine technology with structured training, simulation and objective assessment – because better technology alone does not create better surgeons. Citius. Altius. Fortius.
