🦺We've updated a key piece of our nuclear safety case guidance to make it clearer, simpler and easier to use: https://lnkd.in/eWUJBjZC Our new Technical Assessment Guide (TAG-001) replaces two previous documents, cutting unnecessary complexity so inspectors can focus on proportionate, risk-informed regulation – and so dutyholders know exactly what's expected of them. Safety cases should be practical tools that organisations actively use to manage risk, not paperwork produced to satisfy a process. This update helps move things in that direction, supporting the UK's ambition to deliver new nuclear capacity more quickly, cost-effectively and safely. 🎥 Watch Colin Tait, our Deputy Director for Capability and Standards, explain more in the video below.
