Are you Buying or Renting? Do you think 'your' website actually yours? This ISN'T a post bashing Squarespace or Webflow as they are very good and make nice websites BUT.... ...both of them and even WIX means your website is intrinsically linked to a monolithic provider that has investors, that in turn demand a profit...You don't own that website, you're just renting it. If they put their prices up you have to suck it up, if they remove a feature your business depends on? You have to suck it up or start again on another platform.
