Bleeding Management Masterclass West is back! Returning tomorrow to Canmore, Alberta -- our 5th event in Canada and 2nd in Western Canada. Last year marked our first BMM in Western Canada, an important step toward building collaboration across all points of care in transfusion medicine. In partnership with Dr. Joshua Nicholas and Dr. Bryan Tordon, we're back with an even more comprehensive program. Tomorrow, we'll guide attendees through three milestones in the care flow: Recognition and Early Action — We'll begin by walking through the bleeding care pathway, from early recognition and MHP activation, through pre-hospital care, and into in-hospital decision-making. Translating Decisions into Practice — We'll explore how those decisions come to life through product selection, dosing, logistics, and the system-level considerations that shape what's possible. Applying Knowledge to Complex Clinical Settings — Finally, we'll focus on the nuances that matter most in high-risk and complex bleeding scenarios, including PPH and liver-related cases. At BMM, evidence without implementation is just literature. Tomorrow, we challenge current thinking and collaborate on how we can evolve using evidence-based practices — and bring the best evidence to the bedside.
