We are proud to welcome two outstanding primary care teams to the Ochre Health network this week. In New South Wales, Ochre Medical Centre New Lambton opens in the heart of the Hunter region, bringing together an experienced team of 11 GPs with deep expertise across women's health, sexual and reproductive medicine, skin cancer, paediatrics and mental health. The practice has been a cornerstone of the Newcastle community for many years, and we are honoured to support its next chapter. In Tasmania, we are equally proud to welcome the Newstead Medical group in Launceston, one of the most established and comprehensive primary care groups in the state. Encompassing Ochre Medical Centre Newstead, Ochre Medical Centre Kings Meadows and Urgent Care Centre Launceston, the group brings nearly 40 GPs across three sites and has proudly served the Launceston community for over 55 years. This acquisition marks Ochre's first entry into the Launceston region, and a significant step in our continued growth across Tasmania. Both of these groups represent exactly what we look for in a partner: experienced, community-focused teams who have built something genuinely special and are choosing Ochre as the home to support and grow what they have created.
