π OPTOMETRY / STUDENT TOWN HALL MEETING β EDITION 5 Let's have an honest conversation today. One question has been on my mind lately. Beyond passing exams and earning a degree... what has your course of study actually taught you? I'm not just talking about the lectures. I'm talking about the lessons that changed the way you think. As an Optometry student, I've learned that vision is about much more than helping people see clearly. I've learned the importance of paying attention to details. I've learned that small signs can point to bigger problems. Most importantly, I've learned that knowledge becomes truly valuable when you can explain it in a way that others understand. Those are lessons I'll carry with me long after graduation. And I'm sure every course has lessons like these. Medicine teaches compassion. Engineering teaches problem-solving. Law teaches critical thinking. Education teaches patience. Computer Science teaches innovation. Every discipline shapes us differently. So today, I'd love us to learn from one another. Town Hall Question: What has your present course of study taught you so far? It could be a professional lesson. A life lesson. A mindset shift. Or something you never expected to learn. πTell us your course of study and your country if you're comfortable sharing. Your experience might inspire someone else who's walking the same path. Let's make this Town Hall one where we don't just talk about our courses... Let's talk about how they're shaping us as people.
