From Circular Transformation to Design Inspiration – a Journey from Ljubljana to Venice Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting an unforgettable customer trip together with Aquafil Group – from Ljubljana to the Architecture Biennale in Venice. ♻️ A deep dive into true circular transformation: At Aquafil’s headquarters in Ljubljana, we got an exclusive look behind the scenes of the ECONYL® brand – regenerated nylon made from discarded fishing nets, carpets, and industrial waste. Seeing how waste is reborn as high-quality PA6 yarn was truly inspiring. With our Niaga® DUO technology, these yarns become fully recyclable carpets – designed for disassembly and made for impact. ✨ The journey continued in Venice, where design met purpose: As the carpet supplier for the German Pavilion at the Architecture Fondazione La Biennale di Venezia , we were proud to see the exhibition dedicated to how human intelligence and creativity can help solve global climate challenges. Exploring the Giardini della Biennale, discovering visionary concepts, and soaking in the atmosphere of Venice’s canals, narrow alleys, and sunny piazzas made these days truly unforgettable. From water taxis on the Canale Grande to late-afternoon Aperol moments – it was the perfect mix of inspiration, connection, and circular design in motion. 🌞 A huge thank you to the Aquafil team – Martin Pfeiffer , Gianluca Bernardi and Valentina Amadio – for your openness and collaboration, and to all our wonderful guests – your energy, curiosity, and great spirit made this journey truly special. 💫 A big thank you to our own marketing team, Yvonne Schumacher and Katrin Walter, for the organization on our behalf. 🌍 The future of interiors must be circular. 🧵 It starts with raw materials. 👣 It ends when nothing ends up as waste. #CircularDesign #Econyl #ObjectCarpet #Aquafil #FeelGoodSpaces #DesignWithPurpose #MadeToBeRemade #Niaga #ArchitectureBiennale #GermanPavilion
