This Is Town Business Spotlight: Pickle Athletics! Introducing Pickle Athletics, Oakland’s premier indoor pickleball social club! With their top-of-the-line pickleball courts, fitness studio, sauna and a cozy kitchen + wine bar (yes this is, Pickle Athletics offer more than just a game they create experiences - a magical space where community and wellness come together. Proudly the nation’s first Black-owned pickleball club and one of the few LGBTQ+ owned facilities that celebrate diversity and inclusivity. Owners Kady and Maryanna want everyone who walks through their doors to feel at home and special. They are dedicated to our community with youth programs and fully funded scholarships, ensuring that local youth have access to all the fun they offer.
