Got an old mattress, couch, appliance or other bulky household item taking up space? 🛋️📺♻️ The City of Oakland is bringing back Bulky Block Party events, giving Oakland residents another free and convenient way to dispose of large household items while helping prevent illegal dumping. 📍 7101 Edgewater Dr., Oakland, CA 94621 🗓️ Quarterly events: July 25, Oct. 24, Jan. 23 and Apr. 24 ⏰ 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Bring proof of Oakland residency and a valid photo ID. Please note that construction debris, hazardous materials, green waste and commercial waste will not be accepted. Can't make an event? Oakland residents can also take advantage of free year-round bulky item pickup and drop-off programs.
