We’re very pleased to share that our installation for the Design Biennale Zürich has been included in the newly published anthology Poetry & Pragmatism: An Anthology of the Design Biennale Zurich 2017–2025, released by Hochparterre. Our contribution, Layers of the DigitoCene, created in collaboration with Lena Tünkers, explored an imagined archaeological dig of the “digital era.” The project invited visitors to look back at 2025 from a distant future, questioning how our narratives, tools, and digital habits might be interpreted by other species long after us. It was a modest attempt to reflect on the entanglement between architecture, futurity, and the systems we build around ourselves. We’re also quietly proud to share that Lena Tünkers and Andrea Suardi were invited for a special interview featured in the publication, where they provided a closer look at the ideas and conversations behind the installation. Being part of this publication feels particularly meaningful because the Design Biennale Zurich has always stood for more than form-making. Across its editions, it has championed design as a practice of inquiry — experimental, process-driven, and unafraid to ask uncomfortable questions. To see our work situated within this broader context, alongside so many thoughtful contributors, is genuinely an honour. Congratulations to the curators Gabriela Chicherio and Andreas Saxer, to Meret Ernst and to Jacques Borel. The book is now available (limited edition of 400 copies), and we’re grateful to have been included in this carefully crafted volume. Hochparterre - Webshop
