This week the New York State Senate Passed legislation to make prescription drugs and healthcare more affordable. The included New York State Affordable Drug Manufacturing Act would make New York the second state in the Nation to pursue its own drug manufacturing to lower costs and protect against short supplies. You can let your State Senator know where you stand on issues before the legislature with nysenate.gov account. Visit any bill page and click “aye” or “nay” on bills before the legislature. You can also follow and track bills through the legislative process.
