As part of New York City Career Discovery Week, the MTA hosted students to explore career pathways across New York City Transit, Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North Railroad, and Construction & Development. Students from Thomas Edison CTE High School visited the Zerega Maintenance and Training Facility in the Bronx for a Q+A and tour focused on bus operation and maintenance, while Transit Tech Career and Technical Education High School students visited Grand Central Terminal for a Q+A and tour featuring a demonstration from the MTAPD K-9 unit. We’re excited for the next generation of leaders in transportation! Thank you to our partners at Partnership for New York City, NYC Public Schools, and ExpandED Schools.
