What happens when a city fully commits to cycling as a mode of transport? Look at Gemeente Utrecht. 🇳🇱🚲 Utrecht has been ranked the world's most bicycle-friendly in the new Copenhagenize Index 2025 by EIT Urban Mobility. The numbers speak for themselves: 📊 33% of all trips in the city are made by bicycle. 🅿️ 89 secure bike parking spaces per 1,000 inhabitants – the highest density globally. 🌱 A city-wide approach built around safe, interconnected, bike-priority streets As more cities reduce car traffic and redesign urban space, an important question emerges: How can local businesses, tradespeople, and delivery services adapt their logistics to a bicycle-first environment? To explore exactly that and support local entrepreneurs, NÜWIEL is currently running a pilot project together with the Municipality of Utrecht. 🤝📦 LPU Logistiek Platform Utrecht As part of the initiative, local businesses can test the NÜWIEL eTrailer free of charge for one month. 🔋🚲 With a payload of 150 kg, the eTrailer enables businesses to move goods efficiently by bike, avoid congestion, and reach destinations directly in dense urban areas. Utrecht is demonstrating that the transition to sustainable urban logistics is already underway. 🌿⚡️ 🔗 Interested in testing the eTrailer for your business, or know a company in Utrecht that should be part of the pilot?
