A stage that has to hold a full Chaplin set — and a gust of wind off the lake. ⛵ The Walensee-Bühne sits right on the water in Walenstadt, where an open-air musical plays to up to 50,000 people a summer. A spectacular setting, and a demanding one: a lakeshore can throw a sudden strong gust at the structure at any moment. So we built two things. The stage the cast performs on, and the backstage structure that carries the entire set design.
