The Political Science Society of NUS (PSSOC) organised the inaugural edition of the Singapore Youth Policy Challenge (SYPC) at NUS University Town from the 21st to 22nd June 2025! The theme for SYPC 2025 was “Catalyst: Igniting Ideas, Crafting Futures.” Over two days, students from Junior Colleges, Polytechnics, and Universities across Singapore and abroad engaged in dynamic policy discussions and crafted innovative solutions to two key domains: (1) The Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Workplace 🦾 and (2) Accessibility and Inclusivity in Singapore’s Public Transport System. 🚇 We are honoured to have welcomed Minister of State for the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Digital Development & Information Ms Jasmin Lau, as our Guest-of-Honour and keynote speaker at the Closing Ceremony. Her insights on education and policy-making were truly inspiring.
