At NurtureFirst, we’re excited to welcome Annastacia Kumola as our Head of Programs! Kumola brings over 17 years of experience leading high impact, multi country programs across Africa, spanning global health, inclusive education, youth development, and resilient livelihoods. She has managed large donor funded portfolios supported by USAID, FCDO, CDC-PEPFAR, and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and worked with institutions such as VSO International, Management Sciences for Health, ICAP at Columbia University, and Ministries of Health. Known for her strategic leadership and ability to translate vision into execution, she has worked closely with governments, regional bodies, and global partners to strengthen systems, shape policy, and deliver measurable, sustainable impact for women, children, adolescents, and families. As we move from piloting to scaling what works, her leadership will be key to strengthening how we design, deliver, and learn from our programs and how we build systems that truly support caregivers, especially those who are too often unseen.
