“I LOVE ACCOUNTING” 📸 …said the blackboard. Said never, ever me. Until last week. Spent the week at IIM Ahmedabad with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women cohort, getting up close and personal with debits, credits, CVP analysis and cost allocation — the stuff I spent 11 years as a founder happily avoiding. But here’s the real story. Put a room full of women founders together — different cities, different businesses, different battles — and something interesting happens. The elephant in the room (the guilt, the burnout, the “am I doing this right,” the juggling it all alone) gets named out loud. And once it’s named, it just… melts away. What’s left is this quiet, fierce kind of power. Women who showed up exhausted on day one, swapping war stories over coffee n dhoklas, walked out reminding each other — and themselves — exactly what they’re capable of. Turns out numbers aren’t the enemy. Not knowing them was. Grateful to my faculty Neerav Nagar for making spreadsheets feel less like a punishment and more like a plot twist. And to every woman in that room — for the honesty, the laughs, and the reminder that we’re always more powerful together.
