From spotting horseshoe crabs, which predate the dinosaurs, to exclusive tours of farms and animal rescue centres, participants of this year's Green for Growth were given a chance to learn from nature, try something new, and discover how small actions can drive meaningful change towards a more sustainable #NTUsg campus. Green for Growth, Earthlink NTU’s annual flagship #sustainability event, invites the #OneNTU community to spark meaningful environmental action from the ground up. Supported by NTU Student Affairs, Earthlink members led hands-on workshops, exclusive behind-the-scenes tours, and nature walks across Singapore. Spanning January to March, the campaign also highlighted sustainability-driven activities, including a thrift shop pop-up promoting responsible consumption and circular fashion that raised $1,000 for the NTU Student Bursary Fund, as well as a Canteen Goes Vegan initiative where participating vendors dished up plant-based options. This #Earthday, such initiatives show how small, ground-up actions – from campus to community – can add up to lasting impact for a greener future.
