A new partnership between #NTUsg and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) will create more opportunities for students, researchers and academic leaders to collaborate across borders. This was marked by a visit to NTU yesterday by an LMU delegation led by its President, Professor Dr Matthias H. Tschöp. Hosted by NTU President Professor Teck Hua Ho and NTU Deputy President and Provost Professor Christian Wolfrum, the visit laid the groundwork for deeper collaboration between the two universities across research, teaching, academic leadership and institutional exchange underlined by the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding. The two-day visit included meetings at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, a workshop on AI and Society organised by NTU College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences and NTU College of Computing and Data Science (CCDS), a student engagement session hosted by NTU Global Ambassadors, and discussions on innovation and entrepreneurship. By strengthening connections between people, ideas and institutions, the partnership will open new avenues for research, education and innovation across Singapore and Germany.
