From aspiration to action: At 10, Inarah Farahah was inspired by the humanitarian work of Doctors Without Borders and set her sights on becoming a doctor. When she didn't get into medical school initially, she didn't give up. She found a different route at #NTUsg. Through her leadership roles at NTU Welfare Services Club and the Regular Service Project for the Deaf Community (RSPDC), an #internship at a school for students with autism and intellectual disabilities, and ongoing #volunteer work with the Deaf community, Inarah deepened her conviction to advocate for inclusivity in healthcare. Her dedication earned her the prestigious Koh Boon Hwee Scholars Award. Today, the #NTUsg's Biological Sciences and Psychology graduate is pursuing postgraduate medical training – putting her back on the path to realising her calling of bringing compassionate and inclusive care to more communities.
