Hands-on with AWS EC2! #NTUEEE students got an exclusive hands-on introduction to Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud computing at the AWS Office this week! Organised by Garage@EEE, the workshop gave participants the opportunity to deploy and manage workloads on Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) while learning directly from AWS Solutions Architects. “We organized this workshop to give students a hands-on introduction to AWS and cloud computing, equipping them with real-world skills in deploying and managing workloads on EC2. It was a great opportunity to learn directly from AWS Solutions Architects, explore career opportunities, and connect with experienced professionals,” said Jessica Chia, Vice President of Training and Development, Garage@EEE, who organized the visit. Fourth-year student Mikhail Jethwani said: "It was an amazing learning experience. The networking session was an absolute delight as it allowed us the opportunity to interact with employees from AWS face to face, learning about their experiences, day to day work, and dynamic breakthroughs in the industry. The interactive workshop also provided us the platform to get our hands dirty and walk in the thrilling shoes of being at AWS.” Thank you to AWS - especially Fabrianne Effendi and Utkarsh Pundir - for making this learning experience possible! #NTUEEE #GarageEEE #AWSWorkshop #CloudComputing #AWS #TechSkills #CareerGrowth
