Researchers from NTT DOCOMO and 慶應義塾大学's Haptics Research Center have demonstrated the world's first high-precision remote robot operation over a commercial 5G network. The experiment combined Configured Grant, a low-latency network slicing technology, with Keio's Real Haptics® technology to transmit delicate force feedback and tactile sensations reliably.
