NSW Treasury met with a Solomon Islands Government delegation this month to discuss NSW Government processes, including: • Resource allocation and delivery of the State Budget. • The NSW Investment Framework, which focused on the application of economic frameworks, project assessments and the Performance and Wellbeing Framework. The delegation was led by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of National Planning and Development Coordination, Mr Brian Lenga and representatives from the Commonwealth Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The visit highlighted how governments big and small all face the same challenges. We value opportunities to collaborate with international counterparts and share insights and resources on evidence-based decision-making in NSW. NSW Treasury regularly meets with international delegates to discuss issues of mutual interest. We would like to thank the delegation for their interest in our work.
