This morning government and industry were at Port Botany, which handles about one-third of all ground fuel coming into NSW. They were led by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen, Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Matt Thistlethwaite and bp's Paul Augé. Port Botany is a strategic national asset handling about one-third of NSW's ground fuel supply as well as NSW's bitumen supply and some of the state's aviation fuel needs. We welcomed the opportunity to showcase the critical role of Port Botany as a key trade gateway.
