NSW Ports is proud to support initiatives that strengthen our local communities and to see first-hand the impact of our Community Grants Program come to life.  One of our 2025 grant recipients in the Illawarra, Housing Trust, has used its funding to support the Tylah West Education Scholarship — helping open doors to education and opportunity for people of all ages ranging from preschoolers just beginning their learning journey, to apprentices training as mechanics, to medical students, and learners in their 70s returning to study. Our General Manager of Infrastructure, Peter Engelen was pleased to speak at the presentation to scholarship recipients, joining the Housing Trust in recognising the importance of education.     With applications for our 2026 Community Grants Program now open, we look forward to supporting more local organisations creating meaningful, long-term impact.
