NSW Ports has welcomed several vessels making their maiden calls to both Port Botany and Port Kembla recently. Grimaldi Group’s Pure Car & Truck Carrier, Grande Halifax, made its call at Port Kembla, as part of the new Asia-Australia service. In keeping with tradition, Captain Paolo Ludicone was presented with a plaque from NSW Ports to commemorate the occasion. In late March, the tanker Sea Orca made its maiden call to Port Botany, where our Port Operations Manager, Robert Brooks presented Captain Georgios Dimitrakakis and crew with a plaque to celebrate this milestone. This was followed by the first arrival of Dominator L, at Port Botany. We’re proud to welcome these vessels and their crews, and look forward to supporting many more visits in the future.
