It was the perfect day to be out at Purrah Bay on Lake Illawarra last Wednesday, with Conservation Volunteers Australia (CVA) and members of our port community.   We planted over 1,800 native sedges and other plants to help restore important habitat and ecosystems for local birds and fish.   A big thank you to everyone who joined us from BlueScope and PORT KEMBLA COAL TERMINAL LIMITED (PKCT), as well as our partners at Wollongong City Council. Special thanks to the team from Midge's Bushland Restoration who facilitated the weeding and planting with CVA.
