Businesses across NSW are preparing for new food waste mandates coming into effect from 1 July 2026. To support this transition, we collaborated with industry and TAFE NSW on an online Food Waste Sustainability Microskill course. It’s free to enrol until 11 May 2026. Don’t miss this! The course provides practical, job-ready strategies to help hospitality businesses: • Reduce kitchen waste • Improve stock and menu planning • Lower operating costs • Prepare for new food waste rules Designed for chefs, kitchen staff and operators, the training supports businesses to take immediate action while building long-term capability. A $200,000 Business Food Waste Partnerships Grant was provided for the course to be developed.
