During the visit, the delegation was hosted by Countess Bettina Bernadotte af Wisborg, President of the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. This anniversary edition brought together 75 Nobel Laureates and more than 600 young scientists from around the world for a week of dialogue on the frontiers of science and the challenges ahead 💪 Lindau and NRF's own Global Young Scientists Summit (#GYSS) share the same DNA, connecting brilliant young minds with the world's most eminent scientists across generations and disciplines. Held in Singapore each January, GYSS brings young researchers from around the world together with Nobel Laureates and other distinguished prize winners, in the same spirit of intergenerational scientific exchange 🌍 NRF has a strong partnership with Lindau. In July 2024, NRF signed its third Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Foundation Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. Extending from 2025 to 2029, the MoU provides up to 50 nominated undergraduates, doctoral students, and postdoctoral scientists from Singapore the opportunity to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, giving our researchers a place among the next generation of scientists shaping the future of their fields. We look forward to welcoming the global scientific community to Singapore for the next edition of GYSS in 2027 🎓 More details in the comments below 👇 #RIE2030 #NRFsg #GYSS #ScienceandResearch #LINO75
