Interested in applying for the 2026 STFC Cross Cluster Proof of Concept: SparQ Quantum Computing Call? Join our webinar on 8 July 2026 to learn more about this exciting funding opportunity and get your questions answered before submitting an application. Delivered by STFC in conjunction with the NQCC's SparQ programme, this call is designed to support business-led quantum computing projects that address real-world challenges and accelerate the journey from innovation to impact. This year, funding is available for two project types: Up to £60,000 for 3-month Proof of Concept projects Up to £80,000 for 6-month Proof of Concept+ projects Projects can range from benchmarking quantum applications and testing algorithms on real hardware to scaling previous proof-of-concept work towards commercially impactful solutions. We particularly encourage applications from the energy, healthcare, and transport sectors, although organisations from all sectors are welcome to apply.
