Reminder: NQCC Doctoral Studentship Scheme 2027 - call closes soon! One week left to help shape the future of UK quantum computing research. The deadline to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the NQCC Doctoral Studentship Scheme 2027 is 14 July 2026. We're inviting academics at UK universities to collaborate with the National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) to develop ambitious PhD research projects that will train the next generation of quantum computing researchers. For the third cohort, 6 fully funded doctoral studentships are available, supported through EPSRC's Industrial Doctoral Landscape Awards (IDLA) programme. Shortlisted EOIs will be developed into full proposals in collaboration with an NQCC co-supervisor to work on collaborative quantum computing projects jointly developed by the NQCC and UK university partners. If you have a research idea that could benefit from close collaboration with the NQCC, we encourage you to submit an Expression of Interest before the deadline.
