Novelis’ architectural alloy HRC57S has been selected for the façade of the next-generation battery research Gigafactory at the Forschungsfertigungsgebäude Batterie (FFB) in Münster, Germany. Designed specifically for building exteriors, HRC57S contains more than 90% recycled content and is supported by a third party verified Environmental Product Declaration (#EPD), delivering premium anodizing quality surface aesthetics alongside the technical performance required for complex façades. The alloy combines excellent surface quality for decorative coil and batch anodizing with strong bending characteristics and noncombustible fire performance, meeting demanding architectural and regulatory requirements without compromising carbon reduction.
